AlpGaia’s support services are delivered with care and passion by owner-manager Joep van der Poel.
Joep (1981) is a business economist and agronomist. An entrepreneur skilled in project management, based on extensive experience in servicing agri-food ventures and supporting farming operations in sustainability initiatives.
Originally from an agricultural and entrepreneurial environment in The Netherlands, Joep pursued an international business education (MSc) and has been based in Switzerland since 2005. After acquiring 10 years of experience in trade and quality assurance services serving organisations around the globe, Joep’s practice-oriented business orientation and passion for nature-inclusive agriculture, brought him to obtain an additional degree (MSc) in sustainable agricultural production systems.
